The course entitled "Thesis Progress Evaluation I" is a general background course and concerns the monitoring of the progress of the Master's Thesis by the three-member committee. As part of the course, students must complete a literature review and organize the experimental process in collaboration with their supervising professor. The course aims to monitor the planning of the research activity that will lead to the successful completion of the Master's Thesis and the writing of the scientific article. More specifically, it will include the submission of a written report and oral presentation before the committee on the following: a) formulation of the research problem, the purpose and objectives of the research, b) literature review c) expected results of the research. The three-member thesis committees will monitor and evaluate the progress of the above process in the first semester. Meetings will be held weekly in the presence of faculty members and students. On a weekly basis, students will present the progress of their MSc thesis, specifically the literature review and the organization of their experiments. Discussion and commentary will take place.
