Περιγραφή Μαθήματος

The course entitled "Floriculture I – Advanced Principles" is a general background course and aims to analyze in depth the advanced principles of floriculture in the various subjects it covers. The course aims to provide an in-depth analysis of the basic principles of floricultural plant physiology related to growth and flowering processes. Topics related to the biochemical pathways of growth and flowering, environmental factors that affect growth and flowering, and the relationship between phytohormones and the above processes are presented. Topics related to integrated pest and disease management (IPDM), integrated nutrition management (INM), propagation, and post-harvest management of floricultural products are analyzed.
